Il titolo del brano, appartiene al maestro spirituale, l’indiano Meher Baba (1894–1969) che usava dire ai suoi fedeli “Non preoccuparti, sii felice“.
Il successo
E’ stato il primo brano a cappella a raggiungere il numero uno della Billboard Hot 100 chart il 24 settembre 1988, successivamente sostituì “Sweet Child o ‘Mine” dei Guns N’ Roses.
Nel Regno Unito, è arrivato fino al 2° posto durante la sua quinta settimana nella UK Singles Chart (con 1° posto “One Moment in Time” di Whitney Houston ).
In Canada, raggiunse la prima posizione della classifica dopo otto settimane, in Italia la diciottesima posizione della Hit Parade Italia.
Indimenticabile il video, con protagonisti, oltre a Bobby McFerrin, gli attori Robin Williams e Bill Irwin.
